Job Description
Summary: The primary function of the Scanning Clerk is to scan paper documents and organize scanned documents into electronic files in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
- Scans paper documents.
- Organizes scanned documents into electronic files.
- Keep mailroom organized regarding packages received for others
- Exercises discretion relating to the confidentiality of documents being handled.
- Assists Accounts Payable Coordinator with invoice inputting and filing.
- Keeps working area clean and organized.
- Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of the Polo Club.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Controller

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and to write simple correspondence and memos.
Mathematical Ability: Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate to advanced computer knowledge and skills. May require learning of specific imaging-software programs.
